Blockbuster mail in game rental service


Looks like Blockbuster is trying to give Gamefly a run for it's money. They are working on launching a mail in game rental service. The first place they are testing the service is Cleveland Ohio.

Microsoft's new search called Bing?

This according to Adage, the new search name is Bing. Apparently they will be spending 80 to 100 million dollars into advertising the new search. I don't know about you but I actually prefer the name Kumo. We shall see what Microsoft's new search name will be this week.

Dell says Windows 7 too expensive


While Windows 7 seems to be the killer in the coffin of Vista. Dell seems to think otherwise and here's why. Apparently the selling price is raised from previous OS upgrades from Microsoft. And in these tough economic times Dell thinks less people are likely to upgrade due to this.

Twitter cofounder to start new startup


Jack Dorsey cofounder of twitter and former CEO is looking to launch a new venture. He tweeted "Getting ready to embark on something new and entirely different. Excited!" TechCrunch got info that it will be code-named Squirrel. It will apparently be a new mobile payment startup.

Amazon Unveils Kindle DX


The Amazon Kindle unveils the new Kindle DX. It features 9.7 inch screen. It is geared toward students and newspaper readers. It also has a built in PDF reader.
