Microsoft with the help of Windows 7 had a net earnings/profit of $6.66 Billion dollars in Q1. Microsoft is claiming to now have "the fastest selling operating system in history(Windows 7)" with 60 million licenses sold.

Youtube pushes Movie Rentals

Youtube will be making 5 movies from 2009 and 2010 Sundance film festivals available for online rental. This is of course a trial run at something bigger. Google will try to monetize Youtube into a money making service. So expect more deals to be made for them to bring revenue from the Youtube brand.

People familar with the matter have stated that iPhone may go with Bing over current search engine Google. There appears to be shift in relationship between Google and Apple since Google has been stepping into Apple's territory on many fronts.
